values are too light. and the no opacity brush is making me slack off :( needa focus more on shapes rawr. about 1.5 hours. gotta stop slacking off rarghh
Hey, Cat, don't beat yourself up, it's a very busy and complex reference photo.
I like how you tackled the atmospheric perspective and the saturation on the leaves up top. I think besides shapes, you should focus on values. Like Inga said, every hue has it's value and if you focus on value, colors will come more naturally.
